Middle Studio exists in the space between convention and rebellion. Between creativity and clarity. Between freedom and focus.
We’re not chasing the loudest voice in the room or the biggest client on the list—we’re building something slower, smaller, and more intentional. This is our manifesto—a declaration of who we are, who we work with, and why we do what we do.
1. People First, Always
We design with people in mind—from the clients we partner with to the end users of the work we produce. We care about the humans behind every brand, every screen, every story. Respect, empathy, and collaboration aren’t add-ons here—they’re foundational.
2. Do Work That Aligns
We don’t separate values from visuals. If the work doesn’t align with what we believe in, we say no. That means prioritising projects with purpose, not just profit. We work best with brands that give a damn—about their mission, their community, and the world at large.
3. Build a Life, Not Just a Career
Middle Studio was founded with freedom at its core. Freedom to travel, to work from anywhere, to choose the projects that matter. We believe in a creative life that’s flexible and fulfilling, not one that burns you out. Our work fits around life—not the other way around.
4. Small Is Not a Limitation
We’re intentionally small. Nimble. Collaborative. Being small means we can be selective, thoughtful, and deeply invested in the work we take on. We don’t scale for scale’s sake—we scale when it serves the work.
5. Less Noise. More Meaning.
In a world full of content, we choose clarity. Strategy before trends. Story before aesthetics. We believe design is about solving problems, building trust, and making brands feel human—not just pretty.
6. Remote Is Real
Remote work isn’t a trend—it’s the future. We’re building systems and relationships that embrace location independence, global collaboration, and asynchronous workflows. We believe great work can happen from anywhere—and we’re living proof.
7. Design Is Political
Every design decision reflects a worldview—what you elevate, what you erase, who you center. We design thoughtfully and inclusively, because neutrality is a myth. If we’re part of shaping culture, we’re responsible for how we shape it.
8. No Buzzwords. Just Real Talk.
We skip the corporate speak and keep things honest. We tell the truth, own our process, and admit when we don’t know something. Because transparency builds trust—and trust makes better work.
